The biological parents of the young warrior Uhtred were killed by the invading Vikings, and the young Uhtred was raised by the Vikings. In order to regain his lost homeland, he wandered between the two hostile parties and embarked on a dangerous journey. In the third season, Alfred the Great is running out of energy, but he still hasn’t given up his dream of unifying England. Uhtred was ordered to fight a new enemy, the Danish god of war Sigrid. While the old king is on the decline and the country is under attack from all sides, the heir Aethelwold has no interest in the throne. The vacuum period of difficult power transition seems to be a good opportunity that Uhtred cannot miss… But will he betray Alfred the Great?
